M&FRC ICE Comment

The M&FRC offers information, education and personal financial counseling to help individuals and families maintain financial readiness and build resiliency.

Individual Consultation

If you would like individualized assistance, our Personal Financial Counselor (PFC) is available to assist you on an appointment basis. Individual appointments are recommended if you are facing particularly difficult financial problems or if you are interested in your personal finances for the future and building wealth. Our PFC can assist with establishing a basic budget, repairing or maintaining credit, buying a car, buying a home, a Thrift Savings Plan, and receiving basic investing information.

*For more information or unit consultation, please call the M&FRC at (301) 981-7087. If you would like to schedule a one-on-one appointment with our PFC, go to https://jba-mfrc.timetap.com.

Dorm Initiative

If you are planning on moving out of the dorms, then schedule your mandatory dorm budget appointment to complete a spending plan/budget, discuss Service Member Civil Relief Act, rental insurance, and other necessary items prior to moving out of the dorms.

To schedule, contact our Personal Financial Counselor, Chip Basel, by phone at (240) 222-2604 or by email at baselk@MagellanFederal.com.
