Skiing and Snowboarding at Whitetail Resort

Carve some powder with family and friends, while leaving the driving to us so you can nap to and from. Whitetail Resort has 23 trails that provide all the skill levels from beginner to expert. We aren’t toting the equipment in and out of the bus, we will pick it up at the resort.

Location:

Customers meet at Outdoor Recreation (1235 Menoher Dr), then travel by coach bus to Whitetail Resort (13805 Blairs Valley Rd. Mercersburg, PA 17236).
 

Age/Heights Requirements:

5 yrs (Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult)

Cost:

• Lift Ticket, Rental Equipment & Transportation - $98 per person

• Lift Ticket & Transportation - $60 per person

• Transportation Only - $38 per person

WhiteTail Resort is 102 miles from Joint Base Andrews, approximately a 1 hour and 48-minute travel time.

​

6:00am – Meet with other participants at the 55-passenger bus at JBA ODR (1235 Menoher Dr)

6:15am – Depart from JBA ODR.

8:15am – Arrive at WhiteTail Resort (13805 Blairs Valley Rd Mercersburg, PA 17236) and locate equipment rental pick up area. Pick up rental equipment (if you reserved them) with JBA ODR during registration.

8:30am-4:45pm – Enjoy the Mountain Resort!

5:00pm – Meet at the bus to prepare for departure.

5:30pm – Depart from WhiteTail Resort.

7:30pm – Arrive at JBA ODR.

What to Pack For a Ski Trip:

Staying warm and dry will help keep you comfortable, safe, and having fun! Dress in layers so you can add or remove as needed and ensure your jacket, pants and gloves are waterproof.

Fuel Up:

Exercising at altitude takes a lot of energy! Drink plenty of water and be careful not to become dehydrated. Bring plenty of pocket snacks or check out the resort food and beverage options.
